Too many times we are quick to write letters and emails to complain about services that are less than expected, and all too seldom we take the time to write a note of thanks for a job well done.
Many months have passed since you led a team of contractors through repairs that were made necessary to my personal residence and to two rental homes that I own in Centerville. I’d like to take a few moments of your time to walk you through some of the discussions we had at the time I contacted you to quote the work at my home:
When you came to meet me on the recommendation from a mutual friend, I shared with you that I have very high expectations in my contractors and can do most things myself having grown up as a son of a custom home builder, and because of failed deliveries in the past by other contractors I do most of my own work to get the quality that I require. Bluntly I told you that I was “demanding and anal about details, and if you weren’t up for it, I understand. “
At the time of the storm I was working out of town as a Project Manager for one of the nation’s largest general contractors and construction management firms. This in and of itself precluded me from being able to manage this work myself, thus needing a contractor that could handle everything from soup to nuts – roofing, decking, painting, gutters, light fixtures, etc., as well as representing my interests with the insurance company and their adjusters, all the while staying out of the way of my family.
It wasn’t long before it became apparent that you had the talents and relationships to handle what I needed. Within a week or two we decided to use your services to handle our two rental properties with similar damages.
Without a doubt, I would not hesitate to recommend you and Rembrandt Enterprises. I believe you have the strengths and resources available to handle virtually any residential project of varying levels of complexity. Please feel free to use me as a reference to any customer that asks.
Well Done Wade!
